Driving to our beautiful town here in the Sacramento River Delta is part of the fun!
From Sacramento: Take I-5 south to the Hood Franklin Road Exit. Turn right off the freeway and follow the signs to the town of Hood. Turn left on Hwy 160 and continue about six miles until you come to the town of Courtland.
From Lodi or Stockton: Take I-5 North to Twin Cities Road Exit and travel about five miles to the stop sign facing the Sacramento River. Turn right and travel about 4 miles into the town of Courtland.
From Fairfield: Travel East on Hwy 12 through Rio Vista. Cross the Rio Vista Bridge and turn left at the signal onto Hwy 160 toward Isleton. Stay on Hwy 160 through Isleton, then left over the Isleton Bridge. Take a right turn after crossing the bridge where the river will be on the right side of the Hwy, and continue on Hwy 160 approximately 10 miles to Walnut Grove. Take a right turn across the Walnut Grove Bridge, then a left turn on to South River Road where the river will be on the left side of the road. Continue through the town of Walnut Grove following the road through the town of Locke located one mile north of Walnut Grove. Stay on South River Road for about eight miles until coming into the town of Courtland.
From Contra Costa: Take Hwy 4 to the Antioch Toll Bridge. . Travel east to Rio Vista where the road turns into Hwy 160 and the river is on the left side of the Hwy. Stay on Hwy 160 through Isleton, then left over the Isleton Bridge. Take a right turn after crossing the bridge where the river will be on the right side of the Hwy, and continue on Hwy 160 approximately 10 miles to Walnut Grove. Take a right turn across the Walnut Grove Bridge, then a left turn on to South River Road where the river will be on the left side of the road. Continue through the town of Walnut Grove following the road through the town of Locke located one mile north of Walnut Grove. Stay on South River Road for about eight miles until coming into the town of Courtland.
From San Francisco: Take I 80 East to 580 East (toward Oakland) then take Hwy 24 toward Walnut Creek. Take 680 N.E. toward Martinez/Concord to Hwy 242 (Pittsburgh/Antioch) to Hwy 4 to the Antioch Toll Bridge. Travel east to Rio Vista where the road turns into Hwy 160 and the river is on the left side of the Hwy. Stay on Hwy 160 through Isleton, then left over the Isleton Bridge. Take a right turn after crossing the bridge where the river will be on the right side of the Hwy, and continue on Hwy 160 approximately 10 miles to Walnut Grove.
